Client was charged by Sardina Police with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Marijuana, speeding 81 in a 65 mph zone, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Client submitted to the standardized filed sobriety tests, which the officer indicated he performed poorly, and submitted to a urine test. Counsel was able to negotiate a plea to a reduced charge of Reckless Operation, without any program or suspension, a no points speeding violation and a minor misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
