New Requirements for Owner’s Auto Liability Insurance
Effective December 22, 2013, Ohio is requiring that minimum limits of liability coverage be increased to twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00) for one person in any one accident and fifty thousand ($50,000.00) for injury to two or more persons in any one accident. This is a change from the previous $12,500.00/$25,000.00 minimum limits. If you are carrying just minimum coverage, you may check with your agent as to how this change in the law will affect you.
