Hamilton County OVI/DUI

Client was charged by Hamilton County Sheriff with 4511.19(A)(1)(a), Operating a Motor Vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drug of abuse (OVI/DUI) and a marked lanes violation. Client was stopped for after she backed into a dumpster, did not use her turn signal to turn, and committed lane violations. Officer alleged she was unsteady on her feet and smelled a strong odor of alcohol on her breath. Client refused all field sobriety tests and a breath test.    Counsel was able to negotiate a plea to a lesser charge of Reckless Operation, with only a 60 day license suspension and termination of the one year Administrative License Suspension (ALS) for the refusal.
