Hamilton County OVI/DUI
Client was charged by Hamilton County Sheriff with 4511.19(A)(1)(a), Operating a Motor Vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drug of abuse (OVI/DUI), Operating a Motor Vehicle with a prohibited level of alcohol in his blood (BAC) testing .210 as tested by Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department’s Intoxilyzer 5000, and failure to maintain control after Client ran into a parked car. The officer administered the standardized field sobriety test, and reported Client performed poorly. Counsel was able to negotiate a plea to a lesser charge of a low tier OVI, with minimum sentence, being a 3 day driver’s intervention program, a six month driver’s license suspension, minimal fine and driving privileges without the yellow plates or interlock device.
