Wilmington OVI/DUI

Client was charged by Clinton County Sheriff’s department in Wilmington with 4511.19(A)(1)(a), Operating a Motor Vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drug of abuse (OVI/DUI), 4511.19(A)(1)d), Operating a Motor Vehicle with a concentration of .08 but less than .17 of one gram by weight of alcohol per two hundred ten liters of his breath (BAC), which was measured by at the Clinton County Sheriff at .141 on a Intoxilyzer 8000 instrument and failure to maintain control of a vehicle after a crash. Client performed the standardized field sobriety tests, which the officer stated were performed poorly. After plea negotiations, Client pled guilty to a reduced charge of Reckless Operation, only fined, no suspension imposed, and the Administrative License Suspension (ALS) was terminated.
