Wilmington Criminal Case
Client was charged by Ohio State Patrol in Wilmington with 4511.19(A)(1)(a), Operating a Motor Vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drug of abuse (OVI/DUI), running a stop sign, and Felony Forgery for carrying a fake drivers’ license. Client, who was 18 years old at the time, presented a license with a fake birth date to the officer. Client performed standardized field sobriety tests, and refused a breath test. After plea negotiations, Client pled guilty to a reduced charge of Reckless Operation, the remaining charges dismissed, and only fined, no suspension imposed, and the Administrative License Suspension (ALS) was terminated.
